OVERVIEW Lots of Singletrack over rivers and through rocks with quit a few challenging tight spots. Tough but rewarding route with loads of fun and beautiful views of the Koue Bokkeveld. On your bike The route starts at Houdenbek Farm cottages where you will hit the 1st piece of singletrack through someamazing rock formations. This single track will bring you to HEIVELD HILL. Your 1st and longest climb: 4.5km with a 220m vertical climb. From here you will get to MONKEY VALLEY single track. Here you will have spectators of a different kind. The name says it all. Vey exciting and fast singletrack through some tight rocks spotsand ample Bridges over a dam and rivers and then a technical drop into SUICIDE GORGE. Jeep and singletrack awaits you all the way to GRANNY GALORE. A very very steep, short climb take you up the downhill singletrack called SUIKERBOS RUN. Up and down some jeep and sinletrack untill you reach some technical singletrack , called JARCO. That will take you to the last lap with some nice singletrack and your way back to the Houdenbek Farm Cottages. Off your bike Here are a couple of really good Hiking trails and more than 20 rock climbing routes (sport and trad). Bridwatching and Fishing are also big here at Houdenbek. 4x4 routes near by for the big guns at Luiperdkloof.
