OVERVIEW The Magoebaskloof Cross-Country (XC) Mountain Bike (MTB) Track is just 2 kms outside the village of Haenertsburg, on Consolata Estate, against the backdrop of Ebenezer Dam. On your bike The track covers a total length of 6,6kms and has an altitude gain of 180 meters. With a combination of winding single track through pine plantations, long sections of mind blowing single track through indigenous forest, and some great obstacles such as "The Donga", it is an all round MTB experience and brings a whole new meaning to XC MTB riding!. Other awesome sections on the course are "Big Climb" and "Gum Tree Heaven", which are arguably two of the best single track sections that one will ever ride as the course winds its way down through a gum tree plantation with many corners and fast sweeps. The whole track is on a private farm, Consolata Estate, where there is secure parking as well as a safe environment to enjoy the best Mountain Biking in the Province! All levels of riders are most welcome! Off the bike Ebenezer Dam provides a wonderful place for water sports and you can reach the highest peak in the Wolkberg, known as Iron Crown, by vehicle.
