New mountain bike trail, 8km intermediate circular route with 200m total ascent, interesting twists and turns through some pristine indigenous woodland, crossing two streams each in a separate valley. Race through in or take it slow admiring the scenery and even stop off for a refreshing dip in the pond.

4 km Mountain Bike Trail:

This Mountain Bike Trail predominantly follows old jeep-tracks that have been cut through the African bush, circumnavigating the agricultural lands.

A very scenic trail, encompassing indigenous bush and sweeping overviews of the farmlands and livestock. Horses (belonging to Horse Whispers), and local kraal cattle, frequently graze along this trail at random, in this portion of Sandford. Two river crossings. Approximately a 100 meter total ascent.

8 km Mountain Bike Trail:

This Mountain Bike Trail also predominantly follows jeep-tracks, although these tracks taper into interesting single-tracks as they meander through the bush and rise up into the higher ground, making this bike trail that much more challenging. Four river crossings, and passes the crystal clear pond, filled with pure spring water from the mountain...... where cyclists are welcome to take a pause to enjoy a cool, refreshing and well deserved swim.

Splendid panoramic views across the valleys to far-distant Lowveld horizons, and a wonderful experience of natural beauty. Approximately a 200 meter total ascent on this trail.
