OVERVIEW There are different routes available, all of which start from Kidd's Beach. One can either do a ride along the beach, which forms part of the Gulu and Tyolomnqa Nature Reserves, as far as the rider likes, or a route through various farms that can range from a short 10 km trip to an all day ride of about 100km. Routes can be tailor made to suit the rider. On your bike Beach Trail (Riding enjoyment 5/5) - The beautiful, pristine, lonely beach trail can be very technical as there are kms of rocks for the skilled trails rider. This can be kept to a minimum for those less daring as there is both hard and soft sand alongside the rocks for most of the way. The route is very enjoyable and the only portage necessary is across river mouths if they are open. This route passes the location were the world's first live Coelacanth (Four-legged fish) was caught off a fishing trawler. Off your bike Surfing, canoeing, climbing, fishing, bird watching and safe beach walks. CONTACT GPS S 33.145008 E 27.693636 Weather: Humidity: 45% Wind: NW at 2 mph
