If you have a mountain bike, you're gonna love this place. Lowestoffe Country Lodge consists of a group of farms unfolding along the Elandsberg ranges between the towns of Cathcart and Hogsback.

On your bike

A moderate ride along rugged gravel road and jeep track. From the farm house, head toward Cathcart before turning right after crossing first dam wall (2 km). In for a bit of a climb from here via 2 gates before dropping down a few kms to the Klipplaat River and passing Rockford Lodge. The road now follows the river for a while before you turn right to climb past Coolin Trout Lodge before reaching Hogsback.

Lowestoffe Country Lodge is set against the backdrop of the magnificent Elandsberg Mountains with expansive grasslands, rocky ridges and a gently meandering river. This pristine setting, in the amphitheatre of the Hogsback area, offers the ideal opportunity for family holidays and weekend getaways.
