OVERVIEW This 146.88 ha farm is situated in the Vredefort Dome Heritage Site. On your bike From the parking lot at Hakuna Matata, the best way is westwards following horse trails and farm tracks down alongside the Vaal River. Surfaces vary from tennis-court smooth to wildly stony, especially on downhill sections, so keep your balance at speed. Where the road forks to the closed fishing resort, go left up the hill which gets progressively steeper and rougher until you meet the main gravel road. This takes you back to the Hakuna Matata sign for a final wild plunge down the gravel track but beware of oncoming vehicles around corners. Off the bike Activities include paintball, river rafting, horse trails, abseiling and hiking.
