On your bike
This a mountain nature resort so some fitness is required or you will be off the saddle more than on it. Ride up to the mountain cliff lookout, which is above a dam, and then ride down the hill and over the dam wall. Prepare for a steep climb up onto a plateau where you can recover a bit while taking in the views of the surrounding bushveld. This ride is only 10 km, but allow two hours to ride it if moderately fit. For longer rides along dirt roads to surrounding centres and attractions, please discuss with staff on duty at reception.
Off your bike
In addition to the mountain bike trail, there’s a hiking trail and 4x4 track. Game-viewing, bird-watching and fishing and canoeing on the dam are also options. For the energetically-inclined, there’s a floodlit tennis court, squash court and volleyball court.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS: Day visits restricted to block bookings by bicycle clubs at R50 per person. Otherwise, guests only.
