This circular ride along public gravel roads starts at Keurbos Farm and follows a secondary road past Rondegat Spruit towards the Clanwilliam Dam. At the T-junction, turn left and follow the road along the Olifants River until you reach a crossroad where you once again turn left to Algeria along the Kriedouw and Nieuwoudt Passes. It’s a hard climb up to Algeria from where a long downhill meanders back towards Keurbos Farm.

Off your bike

The Cederberg area is a veritable paradise for outdoor junkies with adventures encompassing everything from freshwater angling, skydiving and rock-climbing to hiking, 4x4 trails and the spectacular show of wild flowers every spring. The Clanwilliam Dam is great for sailing, skiing and fishing while the Citrusdal Baths boast outdoor and indoor mineral pools.
